HOW IT WORKS:

• Contact Jasmine (via FB Messenger, call, or text) to secure your buck’s spot on the schedule. There are very limited spots and secured by a paid reservation only.
• Reservations cost $100 per buck, secured by Venmo payment @jas_bass or check*.

• Once the deposit is received, Jasmine will contact you for straw information and scheduling. You MUST disclose if you plan to exhibit your buck in the SMDGA’s Strutt the Rutt show (bucks intending to show will not permitted to be collected on Saturday)! Please have your buck’s registration papers handy.

Price break down:

$250 for the collection of the first 1-30 straws (your $100 deposit goes towards this fee)
$5 per straw after 30 per buck
$125 no freeze if a buck doesn’t make post thaw (50% or higher) (the deposit would cover a portion of that fee)

*Checks for reservations will be held until given directly to Levi at the collection.

Don’t forget your semen tanks! Be SURE to have your tanks topped off and ready to go for the straws you will be getting collected. You are responsible for pick-up and transport of all the straws collected from your bucks. The club cannot store straws for you. If you are in need of a place to store your straws, there are local genetics facilities that allow you to rent frozen storage space. Message us for more info.

If you are new to the collection process and wondering when your straws will be ready after your buck’s been collected: Friday collections will be ready to pick-up Saturday. You will finalize payment, paperwork and pick-up frozen straws with Levi then. If your buck is scheduled for Saturday collection, your straws will be ready for payment and pick-up Sunday morning.
